Chianti Classico Riserva 2016
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Villa di Geggiano, with a careful winemaking approach that begins with manual grape selection and includes pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures, presents a 2016 Chianti Classico Riserva born from a blend dominated by Sangiovese (97%) with a small balance of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Palate & Finish
02This red, which manifests with 14.5% alcohol, reveals notes that evoke the territory of Castelnuovo Berardenga, with sandy-clay soil and an altitude of 320 meters.

At the Table
03It pairs splendidly with traditional Tuscan dishes such as grilled Florentine steak, braised wild boar, or a robust tomato and bread soup.
