Curation Note
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Sangiovese, the principal grape variety of Tuscany, finds a vibrant and deep expression in this Chianti Classico from Villa a Sesta. It presents in the glass with an intense ruby red color, a prelude to a bouquet that evokes aromas of cherry and earthy notes, typical of the terroir.
-
Palate & Finish
02On the palate, its structure reveals itself with a decisive but never overbearing character, with a note that accompanies the sip to the palate.
-
At the Table
03It pairs magnificently with a robust pappa al pomodoro, oven-roasted pork fillet with aromatic herbs, or a classic bistecca alla fiorentina.
