Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01The Montepulciano from the land of Abruzzo, here in Tiberio's version, expresses an earthy vocation, rooted in the 350 meters of altitude of Cugnoli and the clay-limestone texture of the soils.
-
Palate & Finish
02The Abruzzese pergola, faithful to tradition, hosts the massal selection of this pure grape variety, ensuring a limited yield that favors concentration. After fermentation with indigenous yeasts and malolactic fermentation in steel, this unclarified and unfiltered red presents itself in tank with a vocation to preserve the integrity and liveliness of the fruit, ready for a brief period in bottle.

At the Table
03It pairs magnificently with roasted pork, pappardelle with lamb ragù, and aged cheeses.
