The land of alberese and calcareous galestro, facing south at 480 meters altitude, gifts the Sangiovese of this Gran Selezione a mineral structure and vibrant freshness. In the glass, it opens with an intense ruby color, heralding aromas of ripe red fruit and a slightly earthy note.
Palate & Finish

On the palate, the sapidity and a firm yet unobtrusive tannic texture accompany a dry and enveloping sip, which recalls the character of the most authentic Chianti Classico. A wine that finds its maximum expression alongside pappa al pomodoro, a bistecca alla fiorentina, or braised wild boar.
