Appearance & Nose
01Montepulciano, the principal grape variety of Abruzzo, here in its Spoltore expression from clay-limestone soils with gravel, offers careful vinification in steel for 15-20 days on the skins, followed by twelve months of aging in tonneaux and four in bottle.

Palate & Finish
02This maturation process gives the wine a complex character, ready to accompany robust dishes of local tradition. An ideal companion for braised beef or for stewed wild boar.
