Palate & Finish
02Its generous texture, conferred by the particular ripasso technique, is revealed in the glass with a deep, almost impenetrable ruby color. On the nose, intense notes of ripe red fruit, reminiscent of cherry and plum, intertwine with more complex, almost spicy scents that invite discovery. On the palate, richness and softness are the distinguishing features, with an enveloping and pleasantly warm sip. It lends itself magnificently to accompanying robust dishes of Italian tradition, such as beef stew or roast with baked potatoes.
