Deep ruby red, clear. Intense aromas of ripe cherry, licorice, walnut, and an elegant tertiary hint of truffle. Enveloping, juicy attack, with silky tannins and full body. Complex structure, magnificent balance, remarkable aromatic persistence. Long finish, with echoes of dried fruit and evolutionary promise. Stewed wild boar, beef fillet in crust, aged hard cheeses.
