Curation Note
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Montepulciano, the key grape variety of this appellation, finds an ideal terroir in Abruzzo that enhances its structure and depth.
-
Palate & Finish
02Selection in the vineyard, with pure Montepulciano grapes from a 1970 planting cultivated using certified organic methods, and a long maceration in a closed tank with submerged cap, with fermentation entrusted to indigenous yeasts, give this wine remarkable complexity. Aged for at least 18 months in large oak barrels, it presents itself as dense and full-bodied.

At the Table
03It is a wine that invites bold pairings, such as roast lamb or braised game.
