Garnet red with ruby reflections, this Barbaresco Riserva presents an intense bouquet of rose, tar, licorice, and cherry, evolving into notes of leather and tobacco with age. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, with firm, fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity, and a lingering, complex finish. Excellent with braised lamb, truffle risotto, aged cheeses, game birds, and porcini mushroom pasta.
