Cru Montestefano
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Nebbiolo, the undisputed king of Piedmont, here in the Cru Montestefano version, shows its noblest vocation. In the glass, it presents an intense, deep ruby color. The nose reveals a complex bouquet, where the typical dried rose intertwines with notes of licorice and an earthy hint.

Palate & Finish
02On the palate, the tannic structure envelops the mouth with refined austerity, a prelude to a persistent taste that recalls the scents of cherries in spirit.
-
At the Table
03A wine to be paired with robust dishes such as braised beef with Barolo or guinea fowl in a savory sauce.
