Curation Note
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01By regulation, Brunello di Montalcino is a pure expression of Sangiovese in purity, aged for years in wooden barrels and then in bottle. La Serena offers an intense and deep ruby red, which on the nose reveals a complex olfactory tapestry, centered on mature notes of red fruits and a hint of sweet spices.

Palate & Finish
02On the palate, the generous 14.50% alcohol content integrates with a substantial structure, making it a wine of great character.

At the Table
03It pairs magnificently with a Bistecca alla Fiorentina, a wild boar stew, or beef stew with Barolo.
