Leone d'Oro Chianti Classico Riserva
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01The Chianti Classico Riserva, with its regulations requiring the expression of Sangiovese, presents itself in the glass with a deep ruby color, indicative of maturity and structure. The bouquet is an intertwining of fruity and earthy notes, hints of ripe cherry blend with more complex aromas reminiscent of Mediterranean scrub and a touch of leather.

Palate & Finish
02On the palate, the tannic structure reveals itself as generous but well-integrated, supporting a good acidity that lends freshness.

At the Table
03A wine to pair with a succulent bistecca alla fiorentina, pici all'aglione, or a wild boar ragù.
