The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01The Chianti Classico, according to the regulations, requires at least 80% Sangiovese, a base that in this Riserva expresses itself with lively typicity.
-
Palate & Finish
02Tuscany, particularly the Castelnuovo Berardenga area, gives Sangiovese a distinctive character that emerges in the glass with deep ruby reflections. On the nose, scents reminiscent of ripe red fruit and slightly earthy notes are perceived, a prelude to a savory sip of good structure.

At the Table
03At the table, this Berardenga Chianti Classico Riserva pairs magnificently with grilled Florentine steak, wild boar ragù, or a dish of pici with aglione.
