The Tasting
-
Appearance & Nose
01By regulation, Chianti Classico must express the typicality of Sangiovese, Tuscany's cornerstone grape. This Riserva presents itself in the glass with a color that evokes tradition, dense but not opaque. On the first olfactory impact, scents reminiscent of ripe fruit and delicate tertiary notes are perceived, with an echo of the land from which it originates.

Palate & Finish
02On the palate, the sip is guided by a texture that hints at a beautiful structure, supported by tannins that ask for time to soften and an acidic vein that refreshes the palate. It is a wine that calls for substantial dishes, such as grilled Florentine steak or duck ragù.
