01From the Maremma of Tuscany, a land of generous sun and harsh terrain at the same time, comes a Sangiovese with an extra gear, thanks to the Morellino appellation which mandates a minimum of 90% of this grape variety. In the glass, a deep red announces a juicy sip with a certain character, typical of this appellation. The nose opens up to fruity and warm notes, accompanied by a deeper, spicy undertone.

02On the palate, the tannic structure makes itself felt, but with a beautiful softness that invites another sip. This Morellino di Scansano Riserva, an expression of Fattoria Le Pupille, would find its ideal companion in a robust pappa al pomodoro, grilled fiorentina steak, or a braised wild boar.
