Curation Note
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01By regulation, Chianti Classico is made from Sangiovese grapes, and this version from Fattoria di Petroio reflects its Tuscan typicity.
-
Palate & Finish
02In the glass, it presents with a not-too-deep ruby color. On the nose, aromas emerge that recall ripe red fruit, typical of Sangiovese, with a mineral nuance that adds complexity.

At the Table
03In the mouth, the sip is supported by good acidity and a tannic texture that pleasantly accompanies the palate, promising an excellent pairing with dishes like a Bistecca alla Fiorentina, Pappa al Pomodoro, or succulent game.
