Intense and deep garnet, clear. Complex bouquet of cherries in spirit, ripe plum, toasted notes, and sweet spices. Warm and velvety attack, silky tannins, full and enveloping body. Majestic structure, great aromatic complexity, impeccable balance, remarkable persistence. Long and satisfying finish, with echoes of candied fruit and licorice, excellent aging potential. Ideal with braised beef in Barolo, wild boar stew, aged cheeses, dark chocolate.
