Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G. Riserva
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Riserva, a pure Sangiovese which, according to regulations, requires at least twenty-four months of aging in wood and a further period of at least four months in bottle before being released for consumption, presents itself in the glass with an intense ruby color. Its evolution reveals a complex olfactory profile, where notes of ripe fruit and tertiary hints suggesting time spent in the cellar are perceived.
-
Palate & Finish
02On the palate, this Tuscan wine offers a well-integrated tannic structure and a full body, with a taste that echoes the sensations perceived on the nose, accompanied by good freshness.
-
At the Table
03It is magnificently enhanced when paired with grilled Florentine steak, wild boar stew, or roasted game.
