Curation Note
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01Chianti Classico, as dictated by its regulations, typically requires Sangiovese grapes, bringing with it a well-defined territorial character. In the glass, Guado Alto presents itself in its guise of intense red wine. On the nose, it releases aromas that evoke earth and ripe fruits, enveloping and promising.

Palate & Finish
02On the palate, its structure is revealed to be solid and enveloping, with a pleasant and vibrant acidity that supports its body.

At the Table
03It pairs splendidly with pork fillet in an herb crust, a classic ribollita, or pappardelle with wild boar ragu.
