Curation Note
The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01The Chianti Classico DOCG, by regulation, requires a minimum of 80% Sangiovese, to which native or international red grape varieties can be added. This Riserva from Castello di Monsanto offers an intense ruby color, which anticipates an olfactory profile with notes of ripe cherry and earthy hints.

Palate & Finish
02On the palate, its structure is revealed to be decisive, with a good tannic texture that supports its body.

At the Table
03It pairs splendidly with a Tuscan ribollita, guinea fowl casserole, or Florentine steak.
