The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01The Chianti Classico Riserva, as an expression of one of Tuscany's most historic areas, requires particular care in the vineyard and cellar, with a minimum of 24 months of aging, at least 3 of which in the bottle. In the glass, it presents as a deep red, capable of evolving with tertiary notes that marry with primary fruit aromas. On the nose, hints of ripe cherry and spicy notes of black pepper and tobacco emerge.

Palate & Finish
02On the palate, the tannic structure is perceptible but well integrated by its maturity.

At the Table
03It pairs magnificently with tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, beef fillet with baked potatoes, or grilled Florentine steak.
