01Cantina Miglianico with Il Fondatore Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Dop Riserva 2020 offers an intense and mature interpretation of the grape variety, which in the glass presents with a deep ruby red color, enlivened by purplish reflections. The nose reveals a complex bouquet where notes of brandied cherries and dark chocolate blend with more delicate nuances of vanilla and leather, promising a certain depth.

02The palate is supported by a robust body and a substantial, very fine-grained tannin, which lends considerable length to the tasting, leaving a complex and elegant finish. This Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva is an ideal companion for dishes such as roast lamb with aromatic herbs, braised wild boar, or aged cheeses.
