Brilliant ruby with garnet reflections. Intense bouquet of ripe plums, dark cherries, cocoa, burnt orange, and mocha coffee. Fresh and vibrant attack, elegant tannin, medium body, and pronounced acidity. Complex, well-structured, with remarkable balance and good persistence. Long and satisfying finish, ready to drink but with aging potential. Excellent with succulent red meats, stuffed pasta, braised dishes, and game.
