Curation Note
The Tasting
-
Appearance & Nose
01The Sangiovese, here expressed in its local "Morellino" clone, finds an ideal terroir in this area of Tuscan Maremma to express its cheerfulness, while maintaining a solid structure. In the glass, it reveals itself as a dry red, promising fruity notes and a forthright character. The nose detects hints of small red fruits, with a touch of spice that anticipates the drinking.

02On the palate, this dry wine shows good freshness, inviting thoughts of traditional Tuscan dishes such as pappa al pomodoro, grilled fiorentina steak, or a selection of local cured meats.
