Intense ruby red, clear. Nose of ripe cherry, violet, balsamic hints, and tobacco notes. Soft attack, good acidity, silky tannins, medium body. Complex, harmonic, well-integrated evolution. Elegant, persistent finish, with echoes of dried fruit. Pairs splendidly with braised beef in Barolo, wild boar stew, aged cheeses.
