Intense and deep ruby red, with light garnet reflections. Intense aromas of ripe and dried red fruit, notes of plum, black cherry, sweet spices like cinnamon and cloves, hints of cocoa and tobacco. Warm and enveloping attack, with silky but present tannins, full and juicy body. Evolution of remarkable complexity, with great structure, harmonious balance, and long aromatic persistence. Long and satisfying finish, with persistent notes of jammy fruit and spices, excellent aging potential. Pairs magnificently with braised meats, game, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate.
