Curation Note

The Tasting

A guided note in three moments, by our curators

  1. Appearance & Nose

    01

Azienda Agricola Francesco Cerulli Irelli works the Mascalico grapes in Spoltore, on medium-textured hilly soils with a light stony skeleton.

  2. Palate & Finish

    02

The Montepulciano, trained using the Guyot method with a yield of 70 quintals per hectare, ferments in steel for 15-20 days in contact with the skins before aging for 12 months in tonneaux and 4 months in bottle. This process gives the wine a remarkable structure, which is revealed on the nose with intense aromas and on the palate with a enveloping taste.

  3. At the Table

    03

A wine with character, perfect paired with robust dishes such as roast lamb or stewed game.
