The Tasting
A guided note in three moments, by our curators
-
Appearance & Nose
01As a Chianti Classico, this Pèppoli by Antinori presents itself in the glass as an intense ruby red, true to the regulations which stipulate the presence of Sangiovese, the principal grape variety of this Tuscan area. On the nose, aromas emerge that recall ripe red fruit and a light spicy note, typical of the territory.

Palate & Finish
02On the palate, it offers good structure, supported by a well-present but integrated tannic texture, with a pleasant freshness that makes it versatile.

At the Table
03This wine finds its ideal pairing with pappa al pomodoro, wild boar ragu, or a bistecca alla fiorentina.
