Nebbiolo, the principal grape variety of this Piedmontese land, finds its noblest expression in the Gallina cru of Barbaresco. It presents itself in the glass with a color that, despite its youth, already reveals a certain depth, tending towards garnet. On the nose, complex aromas unfold, evoking the Mediterranean scrub, withered violet, and a hint of licorice.
