Deep garnet red with ruby reflections, this Recioto della Valpolicella presents intense aromas of dried figs, prunes, and a hint of dark chocolate, complemented by notes of sweet cherry and dried herbs. The palate is lusciously sweet and full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish of ripe fruit and spice. Pairs wonderfully with amaretti biscuits, chocolate torta, aged Gorgonzola, or candied fruit.
