About
La Colombina operates in Tuscany, in the province of Siena, concentrating its production on wines that find expression in the prestigious Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino. The regulations for Brunello di Montalcino, for example, require the wine to be produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, with a minimum aging of 5 years, of which at least 2 in wood.
